Advancing cello students For advancing students we offer a choice of new handmade imported instruments made to a high specifications. These provide a very reasonably priced alternative to an antique instrument for students. These cellos are made in small workshops. High quality materials are used, including selected tonewoods. Each cello is personally selected, fitted with Jargar cello strings and set up to a very high standard by Anthony Nickolds in the workshop. The cello benefits from: Jargar strings, shoot the fingerboard to correct camber, refined bridge fit and height with vellum fitted to A position, top nut modification for correct string action and height, refit and correctly position of the soundpost.
