We supply two kinds of Purfling. Firstly Wood Purfling - this needs a bending iron to form it to the required shape. Secondly Fibre Purfling which is flexible enough to not need the bending iron. When the fibre is inset there is no differnce between the two. Purfling is 1.3mm (0.3-0.7-0.3 x 1.8mm) wide and 800 mm long, 4 lengths required for violin, 5 for viola and 8 for cello.
