For advancing student outfits we offer a choice of new instruments with high specifications. These provide a reasonably priced alternative to an antique instrument for students. These outfits are made by hand. High quality materials are used, including selected tonewoods. Each violin is personally selected and set up to a high standard by Anthony Nickolds in the workshop. The outfits include quality bow and oblong case. These improved instruments benefit from Thomastik Dominant strings, built in wittner type tailpiece, pegs working properly, shooting the fingerboard (Planing) to correct camber, refined bridge fit and correct bridge height, top nut modification for correct string action and height and correct position and fit of the soundpost.
